The Art Sub-Committee and the Buddhist Sub-Committee, previously integral parts of the Hospital Welfare Association, have been re-established as the Independent Art Association and the Buddhist Association, respectively. This strategic separation enables the Buddhist Association to focus on orchestrating all religious activities within the hospital, while the Arts Association dedicates itself to fostering literary and artistic endeavours, enriching the hospital’s cultural and spiritual landscape.

As an ancient hospital dating back to the British colonial era, it was initiated to take necessary measures to protect and preserve its historical artefacts, ensuring these ancient objects are conserved and displayed for public viewing, honouring its rich heritage.
