With the coordination of Dr. SanathCoparahewa and the generous donation of Rajagiriya Tours and Transport Pvt Ltd (RTT), the newly renovated refurbished clinic building with furniture was unveiled to the public on 23^rd of April,2023.

Recognizing the critical need for a dedicated facility to safely dispose of infected waste, the Director of Health, with the support of the Additional Secretary of  Public Health Services and funding from the World Bank, initiated the installation of an incinerator, ensuring the only hospital in Sri Lanka for infectious disease patients maintains the highest standards of public health and safety.
